Heavy Equipment Operator Training – 9 Different Modules

$150.00The course utilizes two CM Labs heavy equipment simulators along with instructor led lectures and exercises to give participants the knowledge and movements required to begin to operate heavy equipment. With an emphasis on safety and daily maintenance checks, participants will be able to get the most out of their machines. Participants have the ability to learn about the Articulating End Dump, Rubber Tire Loaders and Backhoes, Dozers, Excavators and Motor Graders. These modules are designed to give new operators the basic knowledge of safety and their machines to be able to then hone their skills on the job, as well as increasing the proficiency of any operator.
This class is ideal for individuals that have operated heavy machinery AND those who are looking to develop their careers and take the next step from a skilled labor position to an operator trainee.
The first two classes are required before the participant can take any of the equipment-specific modules. These two classes will run over two (2) evenings and will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, May 17 & 19 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

Part 1 (Required)
Module 1 – Safety; May 17
This module introduces the trainee to the basic terminology and equipment used in the heavy equipment trade.
Module 2 – Simulator 101; May 19
This module introduces the trainee to basic safety pertaining to the construction industry heavy equipment; includes hands-on/simulator seat time.
The following Modules are available to participants who have completed Part 1 (Modules 1 & 2) of the Heavy Equipment Operator Course. Each of the following classes are $75 per participant.

Backhoe Operator Training – May 31
Dozer Operator Training – June 2
Excavator Operator Training – June 7
Motor Grader Operator Training – June 9
Advanced Simulator Training June 14
